We collect information you provide directly (name, email, dietary preferences) and usage data (recipes generated, meal plans created). We use AWS Cognito for authentication and do not store raw passwords.
Your data is used to personalise AI recipe generation, improve meal planning recommendations, and process subscription payments via Stripe. We never sell your personal data.
Recipe prompts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate recipes. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not send personally identifying information in recipe prompts.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID — never card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
All data is stored in AWS (US East region). Pantry photos are deleted automatically after 24 hours. You can request full data export or deletion at any time by emailing privacy@menuz.food.
We use session cookies for authentication (AWS Cognito) and analytics (privacy-preserving, no third-party tracking). No advertising cookies.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR. Contact privacy@menuz.food for any requests.
